About the YES 4 Youth Programme at DHL Supply Chain
The YES 4 Youth Programme is designed to empower South African youth with practical work experience in the logistics industry. This opportunity is ideal for young individuals who are diligent, eager to learn, and looking to grow professionally within a global logistics leader.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African Citizen (unemployed youth aged between 18–29)
- BBBEE candidate
- Matric Certificate (with English and Mathematics or Maths Literacy) – Essential
- Must not be currently employed or studying
Required Documents:
- Comprehensive CV
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform delivery-related loading and offloading tasks
- Follow delivery procedures and operating instructions
- Understand and meet client requirements
- Report defects or non-conforming products
- Comply with safety and operating procedures
Competencies & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with a positive work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good customer service orientation
- Basic administrative and operational awareness (advantageous)
