The greatest inventions would not be brought to market without the right project management and administrative support. Woven into every part of the organization, our Administrative teams makes sure our concepts become reality.

The successful incumbent will support Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) department in South Africa including the following responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the Clinical Research Director and clinical trial department in travel arrangements, logistics, expenses and diary management

Provide support for Leadership Team presentations

Manage Skills development collation

Onboarding and Offboarding of all personnel in department

Support and organize department meetings

Collaborate with local AAs for our Company’s South Africa requirements.

Collaborate with Global Clinical Trial Organization’s AAs when required

Complete Headcount Forms for all new starters and leavers

Complete monthly org charts and Headcount tracker for region

Manage local processes and systems as needed

Manage the building facility needs

Ordering and control of general stationery

Ordering and control of all IT hardware, distribution lists and dept. electronic folders.

Support regional processes and special projects as needed.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required – .

Education Minimum Requirement: Matric

Required Experience – Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as Administrative Assistant or related functions.

Competencies/Skills

Must demonstrate the appropriate Ways of Working (particular emphasis on focus on internal customers, make rapid, disciplined decisions, act with courage and candor, drive results, foster collaboration)

IT skills- must be able to use Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Onenote, email etc.

Strong attentions to detail and high quality delivery

Orientation toward collaboration/ team work

Ability to work independently,

High level organizational skills.

Well-developed analytical skills and strong problem-solving

Highly enthusiastic

Tenacious

Creative, innovative and strong desire to lead change in terms of developing Best Practices.

Language proficiency- English

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Diploma – Secretarial / Office management

Computer efficiency : Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, MS forms.
